Wrestling legend Ric Flair is embroiled in a heated public dispute with former Ring of Honor (ROH) owner Cary Silkin over allegations of unpaid debts. Silkin claims that Flair owes him $41,000 for four signing appearances he allegedly failed to attend during his time with ROH in 2009.
The controversy began when Silkin took to social media, directly addressing Flair: “Please pay me back the 41K you owe me for failing to appear at 4 signings. Sincerely Cary Silkin.”

Ric Flair Fires Back With Fiery Tweets and Podcast Plans
The Nature Boy fired back with a series of tweets in response. He publicly threatened Silkin to “leave the country” and said that he would address the matter on the “Busted Open” podcast.
“I’ll Be On Busted Open Tomorrow At 11 AM! Cary Silkin Prepare To Live In Another Country After I Get Through With You. Then We’ll Talk About Real Wrestling And Real People That Matter In Life. Last Time I Checked- Still The Greatest Wrestler To Ever Live!”
Flair also posted a screenshot of a conversation with an unknown user who wrote: “Hey Ric, I hope you bury the f*** out of Cary Silkin. He is the biggest money mark of all time. Funded RING of Honor when I ran it and f***ed me over. He is the worst human of all time. I hate the guy as he is a con artist.”
This is not the first time financial disputes have arisen between the two. In January 2010, Silkin filed a lawsuit on the alleged missed appearances. However, the lawsuit was dropped in May 2011 when ROH was sold to Sinclair Broadcasting.
Fans are now waiting to hear more, including what the Nature Boy says on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast coming up where he’s expected to tell his side of the story.
