There are a lot of expiring contracts coming up in 2024, but did we just get a positive sign for Becky Lynch’s future in WWE?

In so far as you can take words for what they mean, yes.

Lynch is among a growing number of WWE Superstars who currently have a contract set to expire at some point in 2024.

Others include, as of this writing, Seth Rollins, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre.

I stress that this is “as of this writing” because WWE and parent company TKO have been going hard to sign pending free agents.

In recent days, we’ve seen Charlotte Flair locked in to a new deal, along with Bayley. They joined Dom and Rey Mysterio getting new deals.

And, depending on who you believe, there is a deal being done (or already done)n for the American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes.

So, Lynch, a women’s locker room fixture, should be take care of and an easy deal, right?

Well, on a recent podcast appearance, The Man certainly didn’t mind giving up leverage.

When asked about her future plans, the Irish Superstar was right to the point.

If everything works out, it is her desire to remain a part of WWE for the remainder of her career-however long that might be.

The candor is great, the honesty is appreciated…but if I were her agent, I’d hate losing the leverage.

Still, it’s hard to imagine why Big Time Becks would want to go anywhere.

She’s been a top women’s Superstar for years, and there’s no indication that will change any time soon.

Assuming the numbers are right-and they should be-it seems like Lynch is going to re-sign.

More a question of when, not if.

Of course, things can change, so until the ink has dried on the next contract, we just have to wait and see.
