More On Where Nick Khan & Triple H Will Land, Post WWE Sale

Endeavor Group Holdings Inc. is the parent company of the UFC, led by Ari Emanuel. Reports indicate Endeavor is set to merge both the WWE and UFC into one sports and entertainment company that will be publicly traded.

Emanuel will act as chief executive of both endeavor and the new company, while Khan will remain President of the WWE. In addition, Dana White will stay on as UFC’s president, Triple H will take on the role of Chief Content Executive of the WWE.

HHH cut an incredible promo/announcement that opened Monday Night RAW last night, regarding the merger, letting fans know WWE isn’t going anywhere. It was a strong opener, with it not only being after a tremendous WrestleMania, but also with the WWE sale news, hitting mainstream media.

Speaking of ‘Mania, after her loss the night before, Asuka had a message for fans. In fact, she went on a little Twitter tirade.

Unfortunately for the Japanese wrestler, Bianca Belair was clearly ready for Asuka, at WM 39. The former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion suffered a loss at the flagship event and hopped on social media after the fact to provide a rant of sorts to fans.

Asuka’s Incredible WWE Career

Asuka may have come up short this weekend, but she has had an amazing career with the promotion so far. She also has years more of action to set new milestones.

Asuka entered the land of NXT in 2015, becoming the first women’s wrestler from Japan to ink a deal with the WWE in over two decades. She scored the NXT Women’s title in 2016 and had a record-breaking 510 days with the championship.

In 2018, she became the inaugural winner of the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match. Over the years on the main roster, she’s been RAW Women’s Champion twice.

Plus, she held the Women’s SmackDown title and was a three-time Women’s Tag Champ.

Asuka also happens to be a WWE Women’s Triple Crown Champion, and Grand Slam Champion. She’s won the 2020 Women’s Money in the Bank case and is an Elimination Chamber match winner.

Asuka has basically done it all in the WWE. It’ll be interesting to see what she does next!
