Following one report over the weekend, I have to ask…is CM Punk bringing more drama once again?

Worse, after the news involving Ryan Nemeth broke, as it pertained to the most recent episode of Collision…more news came to light.

Some additional news about the clash between Nemeth and Punk was just the start of it.

Apparently, Punk has had issues between himself and other, more tenured veterans as well.

So, while you’d have thought that maybe a year off in the dog house would have made him change his ways…it seems we’ve got more drama surrounding him.

So…

First, the Nemeth problem. We heard that Ryan Nemeth had been flown in for Collision, only to promptly be sent home.

As usual, there is more to this.

Nemeth’s tweet during Punk’s television return clearly got under the former champion’s skin, with the failed UFC fighter cornering the younger talent and threatening to take things outside.

While the little-used star was sent home, we’ve since learned he was not the only one sent home from recent episodes of Collision.

Adam Page made that list as well, having been on site recently to record a segment that, reportedly because of Punk, had to be done away from the arena. And then Punk went off-script on Hangman

The Wrestling Observer shared two other names who’ve been kept away from Collision, even after being scheduled for it : Matt Hardy and Christopher Daniels.

In both cases, as with Nemeth, they were booked, flew in, and then told not to come to the arena.

With Daniels, it was said to be 100% related to fallout of how the All Out brawl was handled, in particular Ace Steele’s banishment.

If this is indeed happening, then Tony Khan still has a problem on his hands, and it isn’t good. Nemeth may be a younger unknown wrestler, but the others are not.

And, in Daniels’ case, he is the AEW head of talent relations.

Drama may sell tickets, in which case Khan will be happy…but this can’t be good for most of the locker room.

An interesting sub-plot, per Fightful, is that Punk wants to bury the hatchet with The Elite and make things right. Yet…everything else we’ve just reported, if even close to true?

Seems to tell another story entirely.
