Goldberg will be returning to WWE soon as they have him wrestling Roman Reigns. Also, Keith Lee is heavily rumored for AEW.
Keith Lee – AEW Rumor
A bunch of released wrestlers just had their 90-day non-compete clause expire. One of those names is Keith Lee, who seems to have options.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted how there has been talk of finding a spot for Lee in AEW. Now, some think he might have already signed a contract and it is just a matter of time.

A growing problem with AEW is they have been signing a lot of WWE names. Although, they are careful and pick young talent that were not in WWE for long or major stars that usually work a manager type role.
In NXT, Lee was a star and some compared him to a future Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns. Then, he went to the main roster with no direction.
He missed time because of health issues and was let go not long after returning. If I was AEW, brining in Lee would be good for the company.
Goldberg Reportedly Returning To WWE
When WWE heads to Saudi Arabia later this month, they will bring along a Hall of Famer. Bill Goldberg is going to work the event according to Fightful Select.
The current plan is for him to return to TV as soon as today. WWE has him set to wrestle Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
Now, they were originally supposed to battle at WrestleMania 36 back in 2020. Of course, the COVID pandemic was going strong and plans needed to change.
Because of Reigns’ previous battles with leukemia, he opted not to compete a few weeks out. Therefore, WWE had Braun Strowman replace Reigns and he won the title in a few minutes.
Goldberg has publicly stated that his next match will complete his WWE contract. Although, he has been open that he would not mind sticking around for another year or two.
Originally, WWE was looking to have Goldberg wrestle twice a year. But, they changed their mind on that direction.
Mixed Goldberg Run Since Returning To WWE
In 2019, Goldberg returned in a loss to Undertaker at Super Showdown. That match was panned by critics as Goldberg suffered an early concussion and almost dropped Undertaker on his neck.
To make up for that performance, he quickly worked with Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam. He won in a match to help people forget the Undertaker bout.
Then, he won the Universal Championship from “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt before dropping it to Strowman. He would then lose to Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley in 2021.
Before the year ended, Goldberg defeated Lashley in a No Holds Barred Falls Count Anywhere Match in October.
Since then, the 55 year old underwent knee surgery. He also needs shoulder surgery, but wants to wait until he is retired.
Saudi Arabia pays a lot of money for the shows WWE produces there. So, they might have no problem handing out more cash for Goldberg to keep wrestling inside a ring.
As for Reigns, he has been unbeatable since turning heel. It is seems doubtful Goldberg will stop him.
The Elimination Chamber is February 19 from the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
