Undeniably one of wrestling’s GOATs, The Undertaker has done it all in the WWE. While he’s officially retired, the company still has plenty of plans for him in the future.

Future WWE Plans For The Undertaker

As per a report from PW Insider, fans will see more events in the future that are similar to Taker’s upcoming 1 Deadman Show. Two matinee performances are scheduled.

One is taking place in Cardiff, Wales ahead of the Clash at the Castle pay-per-view (PPV). The other has been added to Philadelphia, during the weekend of October’s Extreme Rules PPV.

In addition, the PW Insider report notes the WWE is looking for other ways to work with The Phenom. Taker still has significant popularity and engagement with the current fan base.

Why The WWE Has Future Plans For The Undertaker

In fact, his popularity is one of the highest when it comes to wrestlers who are not active on the roster yet are still marketed and licensed. The company is looking to tap into that.

The Undertaker had an incredible WWE career. His character is one that created a major impact on fans.

He started with the company in 1990, debuting at Survivor Series. One year later, he scored the WWE Championship from Hulk Hogan.

Over the years, he’s won the WWE Championship 7 times, been a WWE Tag Title holder 6 times, won the WWF Hardcore Championship, and won the 2007 Royal Rumble. Not to mention that little WrestleMania “streak” he had going on for two decades.

Simply put, the Undertaker is a wrestling icon. It’ll be interesting to see what he’ll be doing in the WWE, next.

AJ Lee also did some incredible things in pro wrestling before she retired at the young age of 28. Last year, she joined WOW – Women of Wrestling as an executive producer.

But could she make an in-ring return at some point? See more on this story, below.

AJ Lee’s Ring Return

While chatting with MMA Uncaged, AJ Lee answered the question that’s been on many fans’ minds as of late. She notes that there are people who are encouraging her to “do more” in wrestling, but she’s “taking things slow” for right now.

She states that she’s starting with WOW, and she’s going to produce and commentate. She also adds that she’s doing things, “one step at a time”.

Looks like an in-ring return could be done at a slow pace for AJ Lee. Makes complete sense.

AJ Lee’s Wrestling History

Lee entered the land of WWE in 2009 and was a force to be reckoned with in the women’s division. She was also a major player in the WWE women’s revolution and evolution.

She won the Divas Championship three times. Lee was also once the longest-reigning Divas Champion at 406 days until Nikki Bella smashed that record in 2014.

AJ Lee retired from the WWE in 2015, shortly after WrestleMania 31. In her book, she notes permanent damage to the spine and how she fulfilled her “goals” as a reason for this.

She also notes that she felt “caught” in the middle of the then-drama going on between hubby CM Punk and the WWE. She continued to work for the company for as “long as she could”.

Will AJ Lee ever return to in-ring action? Only time will tell.
