Retirement?

Balor is 40, which is not that old compared to many other wrestlers. But he has been wrestling non-stop for over 20 years and is known for having a few nagging injuries. Perhaps he wants to spend more time with his family or just try something else in life.
Should He Go To AEW?

Of course, AEW marks say “Go to AEW!” as if Tony Khan’s promotion isn’t already overstocked with the talent they don’t use anyway. Balor should either stay in WWE, retire, or return to his roots in Japan or Europe. AEW has no place for him. Heck, they barely have a spot for the wrestlers they do have.
Balor could also be returning to NXT, where he had the most success and would be a great asset with many young up-and-coming stars.
Balor’s Legacy
If Balor retires, he will do so as one of the most successful wrestlers in history, regardless of promotion. Despite his string of injuries and stops in starts in WWE, he was always a top guy with the crowd and a big draw.
In Japan, he made it cool to be a gaijin again and opened the door for many American stars to succeed in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
