As per Dave Meltzer during a recent Wrestling Observer Radio, the first hour of the show was presented to fans in attendance on a big screen. The crowd’s reaction came from the live audience, and not piped in.

Tony Khan Clears The Air On Fans Getting Refunds From Blood And Guts

Tony Khan, AEW President and CEO let fans know the first hour of the event would be pre-taped. While promoting tickets, it was promised that Blood and Guts would be the only live match during the event.

While the T.V. audience got more, it was clear when tickets were distributed, that fans would only enjoy a single bout. Still, Khan said that fans who weren’t aware of this or not happy with the event could get refunds.

According to Meltzer, a total of five tickets were reimbursed for Blood and Guts. Sounds like most of the fans in attendance were happy with the match they got.

Over to the WWE, the Retribution stable did last very long. Most of the members are currently involved in other storylines, Mia Yim and Shane Thorne haven’t been seen on TV, lately.

Mia Yim & Shane Thorne Update

Retribution split up before WrestleMania 37, during the Fastlane pay-per-view (PPV). Fans could sense the faction was about to break up.

Since Mace and T-Bar have found their way onto Monday Night RAW. The two are currently feuding with Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre.

Meanwhile, Mustafa Ali has been seen on Main Event. This poses an interesting question about where Mia Yim and Shane Thorne are.

According to reports, Slapjack and Reckoning have moved to Friday Night SmackDown. It’s also been said that Thorne and Yim have come up during WWE Creative meetings.

What kind of role will they play and will they get a push? That’s hard to say at this point.

However, the good is that they haven’t been forgotten. It sounds like the company is looking for the right creative fit for these two.

Masks, Or No Masks?

It’s also interesting to note that T-Bar and Mace now appear without their masks. Will this be the case when Reckoning and Slapjack return?

It seems like as the masks are linked to Retribution, they’ll probably be gone. Plus, there’s a chance Yim and Thorne could be paired up moving forward, much like Mace and T-Bar were.

Here’s hoping they can find these two a spot on the Blue brand. Sadly, Yim was rarely given the opportunity to wrestle while in Retribution.

She played a ringside role instead. It’ll be nice to see Mia show what she can do in the squared circle, once she pops back into TV storylines.
