Fans haven’t seen Roman Reigns since he beat Jey Usos at WWE’s SummerSlam premium live event (PLE) this past August. WNZ now has details on his return to action.
Roman Reigns Return Dates Confirmed
The WWE Undisputed Universal Champion was last seen on television during the SmackDown episode after SummerSlam. During the segment, Jey Usos laid him out, along with Solo Sikoa, and his brother, Jimmy Uso.
Jey hopped over to Monday Night RAW, while the Tribal Chief went on hiatus. Fans are pretty used to this now, as since signing his new contract with the company, he has worked a lighter schedule.
His next match appears to be on November 4th during Saudi Arabia’s next PLE. While the name of that event has yet to be announced, it could be Crown Jewel, as has been done in the past.
The Head of the Table is also being advertised for the Friday Night SmackDown set to take place on October 27th in Milwaukee, a show leading up to the Saudi event. Looks like the company will be bringing out the “big guns” to promote things.
Still, there are more dates for the Big Dog as the WWE noted in an email newsletter sent out recently that the Big Dog will be appearing at the October 13th SmackDown show, as well. This is set to take place in Tulsa Oklahoma at the BOK Center.
In addition to the leader of the Bloodline, John Cena is set to appear during the October 13th SmackDown, as well as Rey Mysterio, Charlotte Flair, AJ Styles, The Street Profits, and Women’s Champion IYO SKY. Should make for an incredible night.
Reigns continues to dominate the WWE, despite his “part-timer” status. He’s the longest-reigning Universal Champion, currently holding ranks at 1, 122+days, which makes him the 5th longest WWE world champion in the company’s history and the longest title run in the promotion since 1988.
