Bron Breakker has been a focal point since he debuted on NXT TV. A lot of talent in that time have been promoted to the main roster, so what is the delay?
Bron Breakker Ready To Join WWE’s Main Roster?
NXT has gone through several changes. A few years ago, they stopped hiring well known names on the Indy scene and instead focused on growing their own talent.
It took time, but the latest version of NXT is hitting all the right strides. The main person representing the brand is Bron Breakker.
Despite having an amazing run, he remains part of NXT. In the meantime, a bunch of his fellow wrestlers have been sent to either RAW or SmackDown.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted how there are lots of wrestlers in NXT who are ready for that major call. In particular, WWE is looking at Bron Breakker as his time on Tuesday nights seems to be finally ending.
For most his run, Breakker has been a face. During that time, he captured the NXT Championship on two occasions; with the second reign lasting almost a full year.
After he dropped the title about six months ago and most figured he would be drafted to RAW or SmackDown. Instead, WWE turned him heel.
Whether heel or face, Breakker seems like a star and the fans agree. There is a chance the son of the Rick Steiner could become the next John Cena or Roman Reigns.
Cena rarely works inside the ring as Hollywood keeps calling. As for Reigns, we have seen over the last year his schedule greatly reduce.
Once Bron finishes his feud with Von Wagner, a promotion seems likely. It feels like that feud could be done soon, leaving Bron time to debut right before or during the Royal Rumble.
So, is Bron Breakker headed to the main roster? And, will he be a major success or flop?
