Triple H has big WWE plans for the women’s divison and they have already begun. And, why was Sheamus written off TV?

Big WWE Plans For Women’s Division

Look for WWE’s women’s division to grow in the next several weeks and months. With Triple H having a major say in the product, he wants to bring back several female superstars.

On SmackDown, Emma returned to accept Ronda Rousey’s open challenge. And, despite losing, Emma will be back.

In fact, she signed a WWE contract and is set to work SmackDown. Also, Triple H brought back Candice LeRae and Dakota Kai since SummerSlam.

According to Sean Sapp on Fightful’s paywall, Emma will not be the last return.

“In light of Emma making her WWE return, Fightful has learned that WWE in interested in bringing back several women who formerly worked for the company,” reported Ross. “Among them is one who didn’t get an extended main roster run before being released in Tegan Nox.”

Emma’s first run in WWE lasted over five years, but she barely wrestled. And, when she did wrestle, there was never a storyline.

After months of hyping Emma’s return as ‘Emmalina,’ WWE basically dropped the angle. Before returning to WWE, she worked a bit in ROH and about two years for Impact Wrestling.

Other Superstars Likely To Rejoin WWE

LeRae took a break from NXT when she became pregnant. Her contract expired during maternity leave in May of this year.

She returned in September as part of the RAW brand. Also, her husband, Johnny Gargano, also came back and was assigned to RAW.

Kai seemed set for the main roster, even working some dark matches. Although, she was let go before Triple H brought her back at SummerSlam.

Nox has always been a favorite of Triple H and was rumored to win the Mae Young Classic. However, she suffered a torn ACL on two occasions, which caused plans to change.

We will have to see who Triple H brings back. Chelsea Green’s name has been discussed frequently, so a return seems probable.

Is Sheamus Really Injured?

WWE Plans Women's Division

WWE had The Bloodline attack Sheamus on SmackDown. They smashed his arm with a chair, resulting in a storyline non-displaced fracture near the elbow.

The angle was done because Sheamus just got married. He was engaged to Isabella Revilla in July 2021 and they tied the knot over the last day or so.

Several wrestlers were spotted at the wedding. They include CJ “Lana” Perry, Matt Riddle, Damian Priest, Naomi, Claudio Castagnoli, Sara Del Rey, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.

For now, The Brawling Brute will battle The Bloodline until Shamus returns. Sheamus will want revenge against those that took him out and he still wants the Intercontinental Championship.

While no timeframe for a return was given, he should be back on TV before Thanksgiving.

From everyone at Wrestle Newz, congratulations to the newlyweds.
