WrestleMania is set for April 8th, 2018, and will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in Louisiana. WWE creative is planning some big matches for the event, and now there are rumors that there could be a big match scheduled for Shane McMahon too. Here is the story!
Major Match Set for Shane McMahon
According to WrestleVotes, a website known to break some significant WWE stories from time to time claims that Shane McMahon is set to have a crucial match at WrestleMania.
Rumors have been circulating that WWE creative is focusing on Shane McMahon as one of the lead characters of SmackDown Live, so it is no surprise a big match could be waiting for Shane McMahon at WrestleMania. However, there is no word on the possible opponent of Shane McMahon for WrestleMania 2018.
Could the Match Be a Continuation of the Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn Feud?
One of the theories many people have is that the match could be a part of the feud between Shane McMahon and the duo of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. However, if he faces the pair during WrestleMania, Shane will need a partner.
There are many possible partners for Shane McMahon as the CEO of SmackDown Live. Depending on how the story goes, I would love to see Daniel Bryan in the ring again, but as things stand at the moment, he is more likely to take the side of Owens and Zayn. Of course, time will tell how things work out.
Could Shane Be Facing Daniel Bryan?
Everyone knows just how much I would like to see Daniel Bryan in the ring again. So, seeing him face Shane McMahon at WrestleMania would be a dream come true.
There has been a lot of speculation about Daniel Bryan and his possible return to the ring. Despite the fact that doctors told him he would never wrestle again, Bryan has been working hard on his return to the ring. He is already cleared by doctors outside the WWE, but this does not mean he will be cleared by WWE doctors.
Naturally, there is a possibility that WWE Doctors cleared Daniel Bryan and that WWE creative is working on giving Daniel Bryan a match on the biggest stage of them all. How great would that be? Of course, it could just all be wishful thinking, but how great would it be to see Daniel Bryan face Shane McMahon? That match has main event written all over it!
Conclusion
Considering the state of the SmackDown Live roster, I’m confident Shane McMahon will have a match at WrestleMania. However, his opponent is quite unclear at this point, but I cannot wait to see who it will be.
