Young Bucks Add Fuel To Rumors Shane McMahon Is Headed To AEW With Shocking Social Media Post

There have been rumors for months that Shane McMahon could be headed to AEW. And today the Young Bucks tossed a whole bunch of fuel onto the speculation fire.

The McMahon name is the most iconic in the history of professional wrestling. WWE founder Vince McMahon took his father’s regional promotion and turned it into a global brand as influential as the NBA and MLB. During that time, his children Stephanie and Shane McMahon also created their own legacies in the industry.

However, in recent years, both have stepped away from the spotlight. Outside of a disastrous appearance at last year’s Wrestlemania, Shane McMahon hasn’t been seen by wrestling fans for much of the decade. However, things changed this summer when rumors began about his potential interest in joining WWE’s top rival AEW.

Then a photo was “leaked” of a surprise meeting with AEW CEO Tony Khan. Since then, things have been quiet on that front. But that previous speculation got reignited on Thursday.

Young Bucks meet up with Shane McMahon

This morning, the Young Bucks posted a picture on their social media accounts with none other than Shane McMahon. The caption for the image stated, “Interesting flight today.” The brothers were heading out of town after last night’s AEW Grand Slam event in New York. It is unclear if this was taken before or after they left NYC.

Nevertheless, it likely confirms McMahon was probably at Grand Slam, and could possibly be joining the AEW Vice Presidents to the promotion’s next stop on their schedule. It is all just speculation at this time. But the photo adds more momentum to the former WWE executive bringing his talents back to pro wrestling with AEW.

The Young Bucks currently have an ongoing storyline where they are warring against Khan, and adding McMahon to that equation makes a great deal of sense.
