The wrestling business is so unpredictable that Shane McMahon apparently sent feelers to AEW about working for WWE’s top rival.

Since Vince McMahon owned WWE for around four decades, it saw his family get involved. Linda McMahon appeared occasionally, but Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon became regulars on WWE TV. Of course, a lot has changed in WWE within only two years. Vince pushed himself back on board after allegations were made and he quickly sold the company. Now, the UFC and WWE are under the same umbrella of TKO. Then, Vince was forced to re-sign from TKO over disturbing comments about sexual harassment, sexual assault and human trafficking.
Therefore, we do not know if Stephanie or Shane will be back permanently. We are starting to see Stephanie, even though she resigned. Shane has not been on TV since WrestleMania 39, where he took on The Miz in an impromptu match. About 30 seconds in, her tore his quad.
Speculation Shane McMahon Has Contacted AEW Talent
Following his absence from WWE after WrestleMania 39, Shane has maintained a relatively low profile. However, rumors have circulated how he spoke to AEW talent about a potential move to the company. While on Grilling JR, Jim Ross’ co-host Conrad Thompson revealed AEW talent have talked to Shane about joining Tony Khan’s promotion. “There was a friend of ours,” said Thompson. “He went out of his way to text me, Hey, that’s not as crazy as you think. I know for sure that Shane McMahon has reached out to wrestlers on the AEW roster to at least hypothetically discuss the idea.”
On more than one occasion,, Shane was on the outs with his father and sister. He did leave WWE for year, only to return as a wrestler and general manager for a bit. If he was to join AEW, it would not be the greatest addition but certainly the most intriguing. So, do you think Shane McMahon will join AEW?
