A new AEW All In rumor suggests a former multi-time WWE champion could make his long-rumored debut with the company this weekend.
For a second straight year, the No. 2 wrestling promotion in the world will produce a major event inside England’s Wembley Stadium. And just like last year’s edition, AEW All In 2024 has another stacked card. There will be two women’s title matches and Bryan Danielson is putting his career on the line in a world title match versus champion Swerve Strickland.
However, the match British wrestling fans are likely the most excited for is countryman Will Ospreay taking on MJF for his American Championship. The ongoing rivalry has been a centerpiece of AEW television in recent weeks and the bout is sure to get a featured position on the card.
It might also be the moment we see the debut of a former WWE Intercontinental and United States champion that has been rumored to make a jump to AEW for weeks.
New rumor points to Ricochet making his All-Elite Wrestling debut at AEW All In 2024
On Thursday, Fightful Select reported that former WWE star Richochet has indeed signed a multi-year deal with AEW and is scheduled for upcoming events. However, the outlet also dropped a potential spoiler for AEW All In.
“Several familiar with the situation claimed that Ricochet is traveling to London for AEW All In, and was planned for the show,” Fightful claimed. “We haven’t learned what his planned involvement would be. Ricochet worked with an agent for the deal, we’re told.”
It makes a lot of sense for Richochet to have some involvement in the Ospreay vs. MJF match. AEW boss Tony Khan likes unexpected — and sometimes random — surprises at major events. And Ospreay has publicly pushed for Richochet to bring his talents to the company this summer. The duo have a memorable history on the independent scene.
