More: Is MJF Returning to AEW Soon, Or Making Huge WWE Debut?

For quite some time, fans were convinced that MJF had had enough of AEW and was going to go to the highest bidder. And a number of fans were convinced that the highest bidder would be WWE. While we could make a case that MJF would be on a whole new level if he ever did or does jump to WWE, we will be waiting to see if that is true. MJF was beaten off of AEW television (plus he was injured) as Adam Cole turned on his buddy, revealing himself to be AEW’s devil. Remember that debacle?

Well, the devil now has to watch his back, because in the midst of AEW’s Double or Nothing, MJF makes his big return, and he attacked Cole to give him just some of what he has coming.

And, that was not the end of it. You cannot bring Maxwell Jacob Friedman back to AEW and not hand him a live mic, and not expect him to nail a promo. And that promo is also here for your enjoyment:
As someone who predominantly now watches WWE, I will admit I was curious to see if he’d come on over. I wanted to see what he could do with better resources and production. We may get to see that. But based on him returning, there’s surely a multi-year contract in play. If so it will be a while before that could happen. Listening to him cut his return promo, you are reminded of just how good he can be-MJF has “it”. He’s the most WWE-esque wrestler who has never been a full time WWE Superstar.

He may not make me a frequent AEW viewer, but it’s hard not to follow what he does. MJF is entertaining. He stands out in a company where many talents just don’t compel you to tune in each and every show. But MJF is back, so buckle up!
