Kevin Nash The Latest WWE Legend To Weigh In On Jon Moxley’s Hardcore Style After Brutal AEW Spot

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash is the latest wrestling legend to weigh in on Jon Moxley’s latest — and most extreme — stunt yet in AEW.

That happened on AEW Dynamite’s March 19 episode. Moxley took a back-bump on a spiked board set up by opponent Adam Copeland. That kind of hardcore wrestling is what Moxley is all about. He always loves testing the limits of what’s possible in the ring.

And that’s exactly what diehard AEW fans want but also makes former wrestlers like Kevin Nash worried. His unrelenting style has won over a lot of dedicated fans. Yet, it raises questions about just how safe that kind of thing is in the long run.

Kevin Nash’s Take on Jon Moxley’s Extreme Spot in AEW

Speaking on his “Kliqu This” podcast, Nash commented on the dangers in Moxley’s decision, noting the tricky task of treating wounds on the back.

“It’s one thing if you get color on your forehead because you’re going to go right in the back and put peroxide on it,” he began by saying. “You’re going to clean the hell out of that thing. But your back — you’ve got to buddy system that and have somebody clean you up.”

However, while he had issues with the spot, he did admit it wasn’t nearly as dangerous as one infamous AEW moment that included current WWE champ Cody Rhodes. “It wasn’t as bad as when Cody got burnt by that table. It wasn’t that bad.”

Nash’s comments come as the debate over extreme wrestling continues. Other veterans like Rob Van Dam have spoken out recently as well, wondering if these high-risk spots are necessary. The ECW legend went so far as to say, “That’s not wrestling to me.”
