There have been a lot of rumors about potential returns today at AEW: All In Texas. However, Keith Lee is one star who won’t be back in action soon.
On Sunday morning, an AEW fan took to X to state his excitement to be going to AEW: All In Texas with his young son. In the post, he tagged several stars his son is looking forward to seeing in person. Including Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland.

They also tagged former NXT champ Keith Lee in hopes that he makes a surprise return at the event. The message actually received a response from the sidelined star. But it wasn’t good news.
“Please tell the youngling that I must request his forgiveness as I will be absent,” Lee wrote. “However, I am hopeful you guys have an absolute blast. Enjoy yourselves! All my love and gratitude.”
Keith Lee has been sidelined for a year and a half for mysterious reasons. While he has not gone public with his issues, the assumption is that it is health-related. He reportedly was backstage at an AEW event earlier this year. The hope was that it might be a sign he could be returning soon. However, that still doesn’t seem to be the plan. He signed with the company in February 2022.
AEW: All In Texas takes place at Globe Life Field and will air at 3 PM ET and can be purchased on Amazon Prime Video.
