A new report has revealed the official attendance numbers for AEW All In 2024. And this year’s edition of the event saw a massive drop in the amount of fans that filled Wembley Stadium a year ago.
In an impressive amount of time, All Elite Wrestling has quickly become the No. 2 professional wrestling company in the world. The promotion’s roster is only second to WWE and they have, arguably, the best bell-to-bell wrestling in the industry. Furthermore, they have broken new ground for WWE competitors in recent years.
They kicked open the “forbidden door” in co-promoted events with NJPW, AAA, and CMLL. And in 2023 they showed the size of their fanbase when they put on a successful card in London, England’s Wembley Stadium. AEW All In 2023 was by far the biggest crowd the company has ever had for an event. Promotion boss Tony Kham even proclaimed it was the biggest crowd of all time for a wrestling card.
Last year’s event had an announced attendance of 81,035, with 83,131 estimated tickets distributed (which includes complimentary tickets). Yet, attendance numbers are often embellished by promotions. And the actual turnstile count for AEW All In last year was 72,265. Turnstile count is the official number reported by local officials and is the most accurate count of how many fans were actually in the building last year.
AEW All In 2024 has almost 30,000 less in attendance compared to last year
Well, the numbers for AEW All In 2024 have been revealed. And while good for any wrestling company, they are substantially lower than a year ago. On Tuesday, Wrestlenomics reported that WrestleTix’s last distributed ticket amount was 53,393. However, the official turnstile count for last month’s event was just 46,476.
That is right around 30,000 fewer tickets distributed or actual fans in the building for the AEW All In 2024. An event that Khan proclaimed was the company’s “best show ever.” The turnstile count of 46,476 is still a good number. However, considering ticket sales and ratings declines this year, this is another clear sign that AEW business has tumbled in a major way over the last year.
