90 Day Fiancé alum Paola Mayfield decided to become a professional wrestler after she saw the film about how WWE great Paige (AKA Saraya in AEW) broke into the business. Now, she is hoping to face her inspiration in a match for Women of Wrestling.
Many know Mayfield from her time as part of the popular TLC series 90 Day Fiancé. However, in the years since she was last on the show, she has begun an unexpected career in the wrestling business. In just four years, she has gone from a performer on the independent scene, to NWA, on to winning the Amazon Prime Series The GOAT, and now as a fast-rising star in WOW.
While many aspiring pro wrestlers one day dream of making it to WWE, Paola Mayfield revealed to Ringside Intel that she has a loyalty to the brand because of how they’ve made an effort to develop her skills as a performer. And being the WOW champ and a representative of the brand is her top priority right now.
“There is no exclusivity with them. But right now, I am just focused on WOW and growing in WOW,” she told Ringside Intel. “In the future, maybe I can go and represent WOW in other companies when I become the WOW champion. That would be great. I would love to do that.”
Could we see Paige/Saraya vs. Paola Mayfield in WOW?

Being the face of a wrestling company is a smart move for the 38-year-old. However, to help elevate herself and the brand to new heights, WOW could use more big-name talent on the roster. And it just so happens that the woman whose story inspired her to become a wrestler, former WWE and AEW champion Saraya (AKA Paige), is currently a free agent.
When asked about Saraya potentially having a stint in Women of Wrestling and the two facing off, Mayfield was all for the “great opportunity.”
“I met her and she knows who I am,” Mayfield revealed. “She has listened to the podcast that I mentioned her. When I met her, we had like a girlie fun moment. She was like, ‘I know you from 90 Day Fiancé.’ And I was like, ‘Oh my god, girl, I know you from this movie [Fighting with My Family].’ She said if I wanted, I could contact her.
“Right now, she’s not with [AEW], so maybe she can come and say hi to WOW? Come on, baby, do your thing. That would be awesome. I don’t know what her plans are, but she’s great. If she wants to have a match, I would let her do anything to me,” she said with a laugh. “I feel like it would be a great opportunity.”
