Batista left WWE for the first time in 2010 to pursue an acting and MMA career. At first, he encountered mixed success. Before he was Drax, he destroyed no-name Vince Lucero in an MMA fight for CES: MMA in 2012. It was Bautista’s first and so far only fight. He returned to WWE again a few years later for a brief run. He has expressed interest in one last full-time run in WWE, but his film commitments seem to stop that from happening.
