Sean O’Malley’s 2018 campaign continues to spiral downwards, as the rising star is reporting he’s going to undergo surgery this Thursday, and as a result, he will be sidelined for several months.
Recently O’Malley tweeted out the comments below. As he alluded to, news of the surgery follows the bantamweight’s withdrawal from UFC 229, due to a USADA flag. “Sugar”” has denied knowingly taking any type of performance enhancing drug.

The 23 year-old O’Malley is coming off a decision win over Andre Soukhamthath in March.
