Welcome to the latest UFC results from Ringside Intel. The final pay-per-view event of the year, UFC 310, takes place Saturday night from the T-Mobile Arena just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. The event airs live on ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPN2, ESPN+, FX and UFC Fight Pass.
The main event features Alexandre Pantoja defending his flyweight championship against Kai Asakura. The challenger is making his UFC debut after signing with the promotion. Asakura is a former RIZIN bantamweight champion.

In the co-main event, Shavkat Rakhmonov puts his No. 1 contender spot in the welterweight division on the line vs. Ian Machado Garry, Rakhmonov was set to challenge for the UFC title but reigning champion Belal Muhammad was forced out with an injury.
Ciryl Gane vs. Alexander Volkov, Bryce Mitchell vs. Kron Gracie and Nate Landwehr vs. Choi Doo-ho complete the main card. The prelims feature former UFC champions Aljamain Sterling and Chris Weidman along with challengers Dominick Reyes and Anthony Smith.

Alexandre Pantoja successfully defended title with slick submission
While some wondered if Alexandre Pantoja was the top flyweight in the world, the reigning UFC champion made sure to leave no doubt he is. Pantoja successfully defended his title with a second round submission win over Kai Asakura.
Asakura, making his debut with the UFC following a championship run of his own in RIZIN, had no chance against Pantoja. The 34-year-old improved to 29-5 and stretched his current win streak to seven with the victory.
The co-main event featured two unbeaten fighters battling in a title-eliminator in the welterweight division. Following five grueling rounds, Shavkat Rakhmonov kept his record without a loss, besting Ian Machado Garry.
