Welcome to the latest UFC results from Ringside Intel. Tonight we bring you UFC 311 from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The main card action airs live on ESPN+ pay-per-view after prelims on a host of channels.
Despite the wildfires that have left several dead in California, the event remained in the area. There were talks of moving it to Las Vegas, but officials declared it safe to be held.
The card did take a hit just a day before, as Arman Tsarukyan was forced out due to an injury. Renato Moicano, originally set to meet Beneil Dariush, was the replacement, stepping in and challenging Islam Makahchev for the UFC lightweight title

A second championship match pits Merab Dvalishvili against Umar Nurmagomedov. Dvalishvili will be putting his UFC bantamweight title on the line against the undefeated contender.
Completing the main card will be Jiri Prochazka and Jamahal Hill, Jailton Almeida and Serghei Spivac, and Kevin Holland vs. Reinier de Ridder.
The UFC will take the upcoming weekend off, returning on February 1 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Israel Adesanya and Nassourdine Imavov headline with Michael Page also scheduled for action.
Now, let’s get to the results!
Islam Makhachev, Merab Dvalishvili successfully defend UFC titles
For Islam Makhachev, it didn’t matter who stood across from him inside the Octagon. The reigning UFC lightweight champion submitted Renato Moicano in the first round in the main event of the first pay-per-view of 2025 for the UFC.
Moicano stepped in for Arman Tsarukyan, who was forced out of the fight on Friday due to an injury. Moicano was scheduled to meet Beneil Dariush at the event.
Reigning UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili dealt Umar Nurmagomedov his first career loss, defending his belt in the co-main event. Dvalishvili picked up a decision victory, with two of the scorecards reading 48-47.
The 34-year-old was making his first title defense. He won the belt this past September via decision over Sean O’Malley, as he is now 19-4 overall.
Following a series of decisions, the main card kicked off with fireworks and ran from there. Reinier de Ridder, the former ONE champion, submitted Kevin Holland to open the pay-per-view portion.
De Ridder locked up a rear-naked choke in the first round for the win. And it seemed to set the tone from there.
Jailton Almeida finished Serghei Spivac with just seven seconds left in the opening round in a heavyweight showdown. Moments later, it was Jiri Prochazka scoring a third-round TKO over Jamahal Hill.
