Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier have shared the UFC Octagon together as opponents.
However, that appears to have only strengthened the bond between the two.

A video was released recently of Gaethje celebrating immediately following Poirier’s win at UFC 299. “The Diamond” scored a highlight-reel knockout over Benoit Saint Denis in the co-main event from Miami, Florida.
Just as Poirier reacted, so did Gaethje while watching the event with friends.
It would appear as if the two have formed a bond through their battles with one another. Or maybe Gaethje just really doesn’t like Saint Denis.
Justin Gaethje Set For UFC 300 Battle
Gaethje, meanwhile, is preparing for his own upcoming war. The former interim lightweight champion will defend his symbolic “BMF” belt against Max Holloway at UFC 300.
Set for April 13 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the card also features Alex Pereira putting his light heavyweight title on the line vs. former champion Jamahal Hill. Zhang Weili defends her strawweight crown vs. Yan Xiaonan in another featured bout.
Back in July at UFC 291, Gaethje claimed the BMF belt with a second round knockout of Poirier. The two also met in 2018, as Poirier earned a fourth round TKO victory.
