During a recent visit to a restaurant called Furusato in his native home of Liverpool, Pimblett took on a new challenge: king of the chicken wing.

“I reckon I can power through with the salt and pepper,” Pimblett says. “That’s my favorite flavor.

As provided by his own vlog, Pimblett attempted to set a new record for most chicken wings taken down, which was 37 when he made the decision.

Unbeaten over six UFC appearances, Pimblett is also 1-0 in chicken wing eating contests, setting a new mark at 47.

The 29-year-old was with his family during the visit.

Pimblett, a former Cage Warriors champion, is coming off a July submission win over King Green that moved his record to 22-3 overall. He has also bested the likes of Tony Ferguson, Jared Gordon and Jordan Leavitt since signing with the UFC in 2021.
