Ailin Perez put himself in the headlines Friday before UFC Paris.
And she kept it there through the event.
Perez looked like she was ready to faint during weigh-ins Friday for her bout with Daria Zhelezniakova.

She needed less than a round to demonstrate her abilities inside the Octagon. Perez secured a first round submission over Zhelezniakova, and proceeded to dance over her fallen opponent.
“It didn’t surprise me (to get the quick submission),” Perez said. “I know what I’m capable of; I’m not just a girl that comes in here, I am a representative of Argentina.”
The 29-year-old from Zarate, Buenos Aires, Argentina has been working with The Goat Shed. She is now 11-2 with four consecutive wins. She has not lost since her Octagon debut in 2022 to Stephanie Egger via submission.
“This is a victory we worked hard for,” she said. “I want to be the first Argentinian champion.”
