UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley and challenger Marlon Vera had an interesting encounter ahead of UFC 299.
O’Malley will make his first title defense this Saturday night vs. Vera, the only fighter to hold a win over him. The card takes place from the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, with the main card airing live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.

During a random encounter at the UFC host hotel this week, O’Malley and Vera ran into each other. The following was caught on camera by the Embedded crew for all to hear:
“Ready to get knocked out?” O’Malley asked Vera.
“Come and suck my (expletive),” Vera fired back.
“Come and suck my (expletive)? That’s weird,” O’Malley said.
Vera would expand to the Embedded cameras on the encounter.
“I asked him to suck my (expletive),” he said (thanks to MMA Mania for the quotes). “I’m bulletproof. I got a strong mentality. All this (expletive) doesn’t get to me.
“Pressure? Throw more wood to the fire, I live there.”
