The next time you decide to try and rob someone, make sure they are not alongside a former UFC champion.
That is what happened to Michael Bisping’s wife recently.
Bisping, a former UFC middleweight titleholder, was in Paris, France on a vacation with his wife, Rebecca. The two were eating breakfast when someone attempted to grab Rebecca’s bag and take off.
“The Count” caught the would-be-bandit and decided to take it pretty easy on him.
“I chase after him, get a hold of him,” Bisping said (thanks to MMA Fighting for the quotes). “He had the bag already hidden like a towel.
“Got the bag off him. He didn’t speak a word of English, obviously. Didn’t do anything to him. Got the bag back. He was shitting his pants, poor guy.”
Bisping said he “let him go, turned around, just gave him a nice kick up the ass.”
Along with enjoying a little break, Bisping called the action for the UFC over the weekend. The card featured a victory by Renato Moicano over Benoit Saint Denis in the main event.
