Reigning UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones isn’t even thinking about his fighting future. Instead, “Bones” is taking advantage of the spotlight MMA has given him.

While deciding when he will fight again, Jones is going out in public. And not just for his own enjoyment, but to actually make a living; or add to his bank account.

“I’m making really good money doing really, really silly things,” Jones said (thanks to Lowkick for the quotes). “I show up to a party for half-and-hour for a $100,000. (I) sign a few items for a $100,000. I barely leave my house for less than a $100,000 these days.”

Celebrities have done this for years, everyone from Paris Hilton or television starts. People love being around name athletes, so good for Jones.

Jon Jones still planning to fight again in UFC

While he seemed poised to leave the sport, Jones has since reversed course. He now believes he will fight at least twice more before walking away from MMA.

The heavyweight champion could be lined up for a unification match with Tom Aspinall. He has also mentioned a potential super-fight with light heavyweight titleholder Alex Pereira.

Prior to moving up to heavyweight, Jones ruled the 205-pound division. He was a multi-time champion there, having only lost the title outside of the Octagon to rules violations.
