Maybe you have seen some of the recent posts mentioning former UFC champion Sean O’Malley and Haliey Welch. Well, turns out there is something to all the rumors involving “Suga” and “Hawk Tuah Girl.”
O’Malley, while on a podcast recently, admitted that he did attempt to reach out to Welch. However, it was a little “off his rocker” as they like to say. And seemed to have made an honest mistake.

“So I found her IG and I tried to click the little call button,” O’Malley said (thanks to MMA Mania for the quotes). “But it didn’t go through. So I clicked it a few times and she’s like, ‘He called me like five times.’ Which, she’s not wrong, I did call her like five times. But I was trying to get her to freestyle and maybe a little hawk tuah.”
O’Malley also admitted that he was feeling the effects of taking oxycontin. He was on the medication following hip surgery that came on after his loss to for the UFC title to Merab Dvalishvili in September.
“It was the night, the day after my surgery or the next day,” he said. “I was on oxycontin live on Twitch, on Instagram. And I was trying to call people to freestyle. The boys are higher than a kite and I called Adin Ross, Steve WillDoIt. I was calling a bunch of people and they wanted me to call Hawk Tuah girl.”
Sean O’Malley Admits Haliey Welch Has Been Smart
O’Malley talked about the incident and stated that he is impressed with how Welch has capitalized on it. Her podcast episode talking about the former champion is doing great numbers.
Welch rose to fame when she was caught on camera answering a series of adult questions in Nashville. Since that time, she has taken off, founding a company and selling merchandise.
Her podcast, Talk Tuah, was launched under the Betr media company, which is co-founded by Jake Paul.
