Dan Hooker recently had a fun sparring session with streamer IShowSpeed. The YouTube sensation has been making rounds, stopping this time in New Zealand.
Hooker, a contender in the UFC’s lightweight division, didn’t take it easy on his new-found friend. Instead, the two engaged in a brief session inside the cage.

While some rules were put in place by Speed including no kicks or submissions, Hooker had no issue handling his business. They used boxing gloves instead of the typical MMA gloves, and Speed had a second come on to help.
In the end, though, Speed earned praise from Hooker, who said he has “ball of steel this man.”

Speed, a 19-year-old from Cincinnati who’s real name is Darren Jason Watkins, Jr., has over 33 million subscribers and 3.2 billion views through his YouTube page.
Hooker has won three straight, including an August decision over Mateusz Gamrot. He is 24-12 overall in his career with 11 knockout wins and seven more via submission.
