The former double champion took to social media with a cryptic message to UFC CEO Dana White.

In the brief clip, Amanda Nunes is in a gym donning a top from her TUF 25 coaching stint. White is tagged in the post as “The Lioness” sings along to “Out Door” by So Pra Contrariar.

“I can’t believe you won’t look for me. I’ve suffered too much beyond what I deserve. Oh, please call,” the translated lyrics say.

Amanda Nunes Still a Target

Amanda Nunes’ musical correspondence comes after a weekend that showcased one of the titles she once held. Juliana Pena defeated Raquel Pennington to reclaim the bantamweight title in the co-main event of UFC 307.

Pena, who coached opposite of Nunes on TUF 25, submitted her at UFC 269 in one of the sport’s biggest upsets. Nunes would dominate her in a rematch the next year. A trilogy match was in the works, but Pena withdrew due to an injury.

Nunes retired after defeating her replacement, Irene Aldana, at UFC 289.

Pena singled out her rival in her post-fight speech.

“What I’d really like is for Amanda Nunes to quit ducking and come back inside this Octagon,” she said after the split decision was read. “We’re 1-1. That would be the greatest fight in mixed martial arts history,” Pena continued.

At the post-fight press conference, Pena elaborated further on her call out. “I didn’t believe that she was truly done…I think she retired too early,” she told the media.

If Nunes’ supposed return doesn’t take shape, Pena will likely face Kayla Harrison. The former PFL champ picked up a decision win that same evening.

Amanda Nunes left the sport as both the featherweight and bantamweight champion. She defended her belts eight times with a women’s UFC record of 11 wins in title fights.
