An all-new edition of the Scrap Report is back and hosts Jason Burgos and Anthony Walker debated a few interesting topics following UFC 299 and from the world of boxing this week.

Despite being in the shadow of UFC 300 next month, the MMA world leader’s latest pay-per-extravaganza delivered some major results. The most notable of the night was bantamweight king Sean O’Malley dominantly defending his title with a unanimous decision win over Marlon Vera.

Furthermore, UFC 299 delivered a memorable win for lightweight great Dustin Poirier. His W over Benoit Saint-Denis was another legendary pelt to add to his trophy case and after getting his 22nd victory in the Octagon, Burgos, and Walker discussed if the win moved “Diamond” into the top three of the greatest lightweights of all-time discussions.

During the March 14 edition of the Ringside Intel podcast, the guys also looked at the possibility that Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson in July will be one of the biggest fights of 2024 in boxing, and if Francis Ngannou’s recent loss guarantees he will make his PFL debut next.

They also delivered an early preview of the stacked UFC 300 card. You can watch the show at the top of this page.
