Welcome to the latest UFC results, as the promotion returned to the Apex in Las Vegas. The card was originally scheduled to take place from Shanghai but was moved last month. It would have been the second visit there and the first since 2017.
The five-round main event between Song Yadong and Chris Gutierrez was a back-and-forth battle on ESPN+, with Yadong scoring the decision victory.
The 26-year-old from China, who has shown his finishing ability with five knockouts in the bantamweight division, won his second straight and fifth fight over his last six. This was his first time going the full five rounds.
Khaili Rountree Jr. showed off his ever-improving striking, finishing former light heavyweight title challenger Anthony Smith in the third round. Smith, who took the co-main event fight on short notice, was unable to withstand the punishment.
For Rountree, this marked his fifth consecutive win and fourth finish during that stretch. He is now 13-5 overall with nine knockouts on the resume.
UFC Results: Finishes For Pair Of Fighters
Nasrat Haqparast and Tim Elliott didn’t need more than a round to impose their will against opponents Jamie Mullardy and Su Mudaerji.
In a lightweight scrap, Haqparast dropped Mullarkey less than two minutes into the fight, earning the finish. The 28-year-old from Germany improved to 16-5 and has won three in a row.
Elliott, meanwhile, earned a technical submission when he forced Mudaerji out with an arm-triangle choke. A former flyweight title contender, this marked his 20th career win.
The main card kicked off with Andre Muniz scoring a split decision over Park Jun-yong in a middleweight affair.
UFC Results: Plenty Of Action On The Prelims
Six bouts comprised the preliminary portion of the night, with three ending early and the other three going to the scorecards.
Kevin Jousset bested Song Kenan in the main event, claiming a decision victory. Other decision winners included Luana Santos and Talita Alencar.
Park Hyun-sung stopped Shannon Ross in the second round, Steve Garcia did the same to Melquizael Costa and Tatsuro Taira made is three second round finishes when he ended the night of Carlos Hernandez.

Leon Edwards defends his welterweight title against Colby Covington in the main event. Also, Alexandre Pantoja puts his flyweight belt on the line vs. Brandon Royval.
Rounding out the main card will be Shavkat Rakhmonov vs. Stephen Thompson, Tony Ferguson vs. Paddy Pimblett and Vicente Luque vs. Ian Machado Garry.
