
Welcome to the latest UFC results, as UFC Fight Night 232 took place Saturday from the Apex in Las Vegas. All the action streamed live on ESPN+ with a main event pitting middleweights Brendan Allen and Paul Craig against one another. The card also featured Jake Matthews vs. Michael Morales and Chase Hooper vs. Jordan Leavitt. Now, let’s get to the UFC results.
Brendan Allen came out looking for the finish in the third round vs. Paul Craig and he got it.
Allen locked in a rear-naked choke just 38 seconds into the round, securing the main event victory at UFC Fight Night 232. The card aired live on ESPN+ from the Apex in Las Vegas.
For Allen, the win moved him to 23-5 overall and extended his current streak to six in a row. The last four of his victories have all come by rear-naked choke.
UFC Results: Michael Morales Stuns Jake Matthews
Jake Matthews never knew what hit him, as Michael Morales dominated their three-round welterweight affair. One judge gave the fight to Morales on all three scorecards, while the other two gave him two rounds.
Chase Hooper showed off his submission skills in a lightweight battle with Jordan Leavitt, securing a first round win with a rear-naked choke. That came on the heels of a rear-naked choke victory by Payton Talbott over Nick Aguirre.
Amanda Ribas put on a show in a women’s strawweight affair with Luana Pinheiro, landing a spinning wheel kick and following up with strikes near the end of the third round.
Myktybek Orolbai opened up the main card with a submission win via neck crank over Uros Medic in the second round.
UFC Results: Prelims Feature A Ninja Choke
Called a ninja choke, Joanderson Brito finished off the prelims with a submission of Jonathan Pearce in a featherweight fight.
Brito locked in the hold with just over a minute to go in the second round to earn the win.
Jose Johnson also picked up a victory by submission with both Christian Leroy Duncan and Jeka Saragih earning knockout victories.
Mick Parkin, Ailin Perez and Rafael Estevam were decision winners.
A lightweight bout between Trey Ogden and Nikolas Motta was declared a no-contest due to a premature stoppage. Originally, Ogden had been declared the winner with an arm-triangle choke, but review changed the outcome.
UFC Results: Four Bonuses Handed Out
Allen, Ribas, Brito and Saragih were all awarded a “Performance of the Night” bonus for their wins. Each of the four fighters picked up an additional $50,000.
No “Fight of the Night” was declared.
Up Next
As is typical, the UFC will take Thanksgiving weekend off before returning on Saturday, December 2 with UFC Fight Night 52 from Austin, Texas. The event marks the fifth visit to the city and first since June of last year.
In the main event, Beneil Dariush and Arman Tsarukyan square off at lightweight. Also, lightweights Bobby Green and Dan Hooker are scheduled to meet.
Other fights include Rob Font vs. Deiveson Figueiredo, Sean Brady vs. Kelvin Gastelum and both Clay Guida and Miesha Tate on the prelims.
