Leon Edwards made sure no one would forget about him in the welterweight division, scoring a convincing decision victory over former champion Rafael dos Anjos Saturday night in the main event of UFC on ESPN 4.
Edwards, who has now won eight consecutive fights since a decision loss to current UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, swept all three scorecards from the judges inside the AT&T Center in San Antonio.
Walt Harris claimed a key win in his career, knocking out Aleksei Oleinik in just 12 seconds in the co-main event, while another heavyweight, Greg Hardy, dominated Juan Adams before earning the stoppage win in just 45 seconds.
Another heavyweight, former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski, bested Ben Rothwell in the main card opener.
Dan Hooker stopped James Vick in the first round and Alexander Hernandez picked up a decision over Francisco Trinaldo in the other main card bouts.
Alex Caceres, Raquel Pennington, Klidson Abreu, Jennifer Maia, Ray Borg, Mario Bautista and Felipe Colares were all winners on the prelims, which also aired on ESPN.
