Regardless of how you feel going into Saturday, Uriah Hall and Sean Strickland have a tremendous opportunity at UFC on ESPN 28.
The two middleweights will square off in the main event live on ESPN from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
While they might not carry the same weight as TJ Dillashaw or any other number of headline acts, for Hall and Strickland, this is a prime-time opportunity.
Pick up a win live on ESPN in the main event of UFC, and you definitely will garner headlines.
Hall has been on a roll as of late. The former Ultimate Fighter standout earned a second consecutive win over a former UFC champion when he bested Chris Weidman.
The bout at UFC 261 in April was stopped 17 seconds in after Hall checked a leg-kick that left Weidman injured and unable to continue. Ironically enough, the fighter Hall bested just before that, Anderson Silva, had his career stopped for a short time in similar fashion.
Since a 2018 loss to Paulo Costa, Hall has won four in a row, with three coming by way of finish.
Strickland is on a similar four-fight win streak, having earned a pair of finishes. He is 23-3 overall and has stopped 14 of his opponents.
In 2017, Strickland went the distance over three rounds with reigning UFC champion Kamaru Usman.
Along with Hall-Strickland, Kyung Ho Hang takes on Rani Yahya, Jared Gooden meets Niklas Stolze and Bryan Barberena battles Jason Witt.
