The UFC had another one of their big ESPN shows last night, and boy oh boy was there violence galore. But of all the TKOs, KOs and subs, perhaps none had such great divisional impact as the beating strawweight Michelle Waterson visited upon former contender Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
This was three rounds of “Karate Hottie” staying out of range of strikes, then turning things into a grappling match with a throw or takedown.

Kowalkiewicz’s best moment was escaping from a tight armbar.

Waterson fed her elbows, Waterson controlled the fight… Waterson pretty much made a case for her getting a title shot.
