The featherweight champ Holloway is moving up to 155 to face Poirier for an interim belt at UFC 236. Holloway faced Poirier way back in 2012, in what was the Hawaiian star’s UFC debut. Poirier won the fight via first-round submission.
As UFC 236 approaches, Holloway is riding a 13 fight winning streak and has established himself as one of the best, pound-for-pound fighters on the planet. Poirier, meanwhile, has gone undefeated in 5 straight.
