
Former bantamweight champ Cody Garbrandt obviously felt that getting knocked out in his last two fights wasn’t enough, so he went for another concussion at UFC 235. His opponent, the “meh” Pedro Munhoz was happy to oblige.
Really, this was a pretty cool one-round fight, with both men kicking and punching the crap out of each other. Garbrandt even landed a flying knee. But at some point, when your brain has been addled from consecutive knockouts at the hands of TJ Dillashaw, you have to think that those knuckle-sandwiches you used to be able to eat are no longer digestible. Unfortunately, Garbrandt hasn’t realized that.
