After signing with ONE, an Asia-based promotion, in 2019, Northcutt suffered a devastating first-round knockout loss to Cosmo Alexandre. He suffered an injury and would not fight again for almost four full years.
In May 2023, Northcutt finally returned to action, facing Ahmed Mutjtaba. He scored a submission victory in 39 seconds to improve to 12-3 overall.

Before turning 20 years old, Northcutt looked like at least a future contender. He earned finishes over Francisco Trevino and Cody Pfister in his first two UFC fights.
Sitting at 7-0 in 2016, Northcutt was submitted by Bryan Barberena and would put together a 1-2 stretch that year. He topped Enrique Martin before losing by submission to Mickey Gall.
Before leaving for ONE, he earned three straight wins over Michel Quinones, Thibault Gouti, and Zak Ottow.
ONE did try to schedule him for a 2024 bout with Shinya Aoki, a former champion in the promotion. Northcutt, though, withdrew at the last minute after a member of his team was denied a visa.
