The PFL has been under fire from fighters over recent weeks. Now, top female Dakota Ditcheva, is asking who they are going to present for her next fight.

Ditcheva has become the No. 1 female in the promotion since Kayla Harrison left for the UFC. She is unbeaten, coming off a dominating finish to win the 2024 season title at $1 million.

The English-born 26-year-old is a perfect 14-0 with 12 knockouts and a submission. She has been with the PFL since 2022, including a victory in the first PFL Europe tournament.

“Obviously the merger with Bellator is perfect,” Ditcheva told MMA Fighting. “They definitely still have a talented group of flyweights. (But) they are going to have to find (new talent). There are so many options. PFL are quite good like that.”

Ditcheva admitted that entering another season-long tournament might not be the best course of her career. She wonders if fans want to see the same group of fighters battling it out.

“Would it be better if to put me on a pay-per-view card and have me on a big fight and promote it like that?” she said. “They promote me a lot during these tournaments. Could that work on a pay-per-view? I’m not sure. Maybe if you get me a big fight, put it in Manchester.”

She did present the positives to what PFL has done, including heading to Europe to find her and other talent. The promotion is also growing internationally with events in the Middle East and Africa.
