Kayla Harrison made quick work of her Invicta FC opponent Friday night, once again showing why she is one of the top female fighters in the world today.
The two-time Olympic gold medalist and reigning Professional Fighters League lightweight champion debuted for Invicta FC in the main event of Invicta FC 43 live on UFC Fight Pass.
The bout also served as her debut at featherweight after stringing together several dominating victories in the lightweight division.
“I love it here,” Harrison said. “Women are so badass.”
Harrison left her opponent, Courtney King, on her back in a bloody mess after imposing her will and showcasing her talents.

Harrison, who excelled in judo before transitioning to MMA, opened up King in the first round with a huge elbow. In the second, she finished her off.
The bout was moved to the main event this week after issues with the planned headliner came about due to COVID-19.
Harrison, who will return to the PFL in early 2021 to begin work on another championship and million-dollar prize, is now 8-0 in her career with three wins via knockout and three more by submission.
