Paige VanZant and Rachael Ostovich are back on as scheduled for the UFC’s January debut on ESPN+.
The bout was reportedly canceled when Ostovich was assaulted by her husband recently, leaving her with a broken orbital bone and other injuries, along with a pending court case.
However, VanZant took to Twitter to confirm reports that Ostovich will be cleared to compete in January from the Barclays Center. She also expressed her appreciation of Ostovich and plays to “stand by her side with her ongoing battle at home.”
“FIGHT STILL ON!!!!!,” VanZant wrote. “I couldn’t be more great full to Rachael Ostovich. Yes we are going to war with each other in the cage, but I stand by her side with her ongoing battle at home. Let’s put on a fight and show these people how strong we are.”
