When last we saw Nate Diaz in the cage, he was losing a narrow decision to Conor McGregor. But this was his second fight with the combative sports superstar, so ol’ Nate was suddenly richer than he’d ever been in his life. And since the dude is happy eating bean burritos and getting around town on a motor scooter, he probably still has most of that money sitting in his bank account. Hence, the lengthy time since his last fight.
But that doesn’t mean Diaz doesn’t have the urge to chime in whenever his UFC peers get uppity.
Recently, McGregor threw some barbs at Khabib Nurmagomedov on social media – something about telling Nurmagomedov to stop bitching.
Then Khabib fired back at McGregor with doozy, saying that he’ll have to live with the shame of tapping out for the rest of his life.
Well, Nate hath spoken.
