Michael Page is a free agent no longer.
Page, a former Bellator title contender, was officially announced for the upcoming UFC 299 event by Dana White.
Talking to members of the media during the UFC 296 post-fight press conference, White confirmed that Page will make his Octagon debut vs. Kevin Holland. The fight has been rumored for several weeks after a board showing it was accidentally left on display.
Page, a 36-year-old from London, England, hold a record of 21-2 to his resume with 13 knockout victories and three more submission wins. He finished out his Bellator contract in March with a TKO over Goiti Yamauchi.
Last year, Page lost to Logan Storley for the interim title with his only other defeat to date being at the hands of Douglas Lima during the Bellator Welterweight World Grand Prix in 2019. He avenged that loss with a split decision in his home country two years later over Lima.
White also confirmed three other fights for the event, which takes place March 9 from the Kaseya Center in Miami. The card features a main event between bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley and top contender Marlon Vera.
Song Yadong will battle former champion Petr Yan, Gilbert Burns takes on Jack Della Maddalena and Ian Garry gets Geoff Neal.
