From what he can recall, Marlon Moraes believes he did more than enough to warrant earning a decision at UFC 245.
But if UFC officials believe Jose Aldo is deserving of a rematch, Moraes is also willing to accept that.
Moraes, a top contender and former World Series of Fighting champion, earned a split decision over Aldo in the debut for the former UFC featherweight titleholder at bantamweight.

“I think I score more,” Moraes said. “It is what it is. If they think Aldo deserves a rematch, I’ll give him a rematch right away.”
Moraes got back in the win column after a third round TKO loss to Henry Cejudo at UFC 238 this past June. That bout was for the vacant bantamweight title, a defeat that snapped his four-fight win streak.

Entering the fight with Cejudo, who is also the flyweight champion, Moraes has bested Raphael Assuncao, Jimmie Rivera, Aljamain Sterling and John Dodson.

Aldo, who turned 33 years old this past September, fell to 2-4 in his last six. Two of those defeats came to Max Holloway, with wins over Renato Moicano and Jeremy Stephens stuffed in there.
