Boston Salmon really needed a win at LFA 84, following consecutive defeats, but certainly not in the way it went down.
Salmon gets brutally KO’d by an illegal knee
The UFC veteran took on Shawn West at LFA’s latest event on Friday, and as you can see by watching the clip below, Salmon was viciously knocked out in round two.
Since Salmon was technically a downed opponent when he was blasted with the knee, the strike was a foul. ‘Boom Boom’ obviously could not continue and West was disqualified.

Salmon (7-3) was competing for the first time since he exited the UFC last year, following back-to-back defeats to Khalid Taha and Randy Costa.
West (16-11), meanwhile, was coming off a win over Johnnie Roades. With the DQ loss, he’s dropped three of his last five bouts.
