
You don’t see knockouts from slams all that often in MMA, and the one that took place at LFA 82 on Friday night, was particularly memorable.
Jake Childers takes out Nate Richardson with a slam
Undefeated featherweight Jake Childers moved his record to 7-0 at the event by taking out Nate Richardson with a slam in round one. But, as you can see by watching the clip below, the slam wasn’t that hard. If you watch closely, however, it looks like Richardson’s chin slams off his own shoulder and also Childer’s chin.

Richardson was riding a five fight winning streak heading into the fight, and his record now stands at 7-2.
Alex Polizzi taps Jamal Pogues to win 205 title
In the main event, Alex Polizzi secured the vacant light-heavyweight title by tapping out Jamal Pogues with a fourth round, heel hook.

Polizzi improved his record to 6-0 while Pogues’ fell to 7-3.
