Back in 2015, Justin Baesman stepped out of his comfort zone and took on kickboxing legend Raymond Daniels at Glory 21: San Diego.
That didn’t go the way Baesman wanted, and now he is seeking a rematch inside the Bellator MMA cage.
Baesman called for a bout with Daniels in mixed martial arts recently, saying he plans to “shock the world again.”
“Scott Coker please bless me with a rematch against Raymond Daniels,” Baesman posted on Facebook. “I fought him in his game for GLORY Kickboxing. They ranked me No. 13 in the world and he was No. 3. I was also ranked No. 11 for Bellator MMA.
“Now that I’m back on a win streak both finishes in the first round, let me fight him in my game! I’m ready for a big fight/hard fight! All love and respect for you RD.”
Baesman has experienced it all, even facing Chris Leben in a bare knuckle boxing match.
Back in 2013, Baesman competed for Bellator, scoring a first round submission victory over Brent Weedman in the Bellator Season Nine Welterweight Tournament.
